Altura Real Estate: A New Brokerage in Eugene

Eugene has a new real estate brokerage, and we built it on purpose.

Altura Real Estate opened its doors in Eugene, Oregon with a simple premise: buying and selling a home should feel clear, not confusing. Too much of this industry runs on jargon, pressure, and paperwork nobody explains. We wanted to do it differently, so we started our own firm rather than waiting for someone else to fix it.

Who we are

Altura was founded by Dustin Vollstedt, principal broker, and Freeman Corbin, who brings more than 25 years of real estate investment experience to the table. Our founding team also includes agents Kevin Levy and Mychal McGuire, with Pamela Simons managing transactions and keeping every file on track from contract to close.

That last part matters more than it sounds. A dedicated transaction manager means your paperwork is being watched by someone whose entire job is watching it, not squeezed in between showings.

What makes us different

We explain things. Oregon's new agency rules under HB 4058 and the changes from the NAR settlement have made representation agreements a required part of the process. Most brokerages hand you a form. We rewrote ours in plain language so you actually know what you are signing and what you get in return.

Investment expertise, not just residential sales. Plenty of agents can sell you a house. Fewer can run the numbers on a duplex, walk you through landlord-tenant obligations on a tenant-occupied property, or tell you honestly when a deal does not pencil out. Investment property analysis is core to what we do, not a side offering.

Technology that serves clients, not marketing. We are building our own client portal so sellers and buyers can see their listing performance, market context, and transaction status without waiting for a phone call. The goal is fewer "any updates?" texts and more actual information.

Local, and staying that way. Eugene is not a market you can understand from a national dashboard. Neighborhood by neighborhood, the story changes: what appraises, what sits, what sells in a weekend. We live here, and our advice reflects that.
